Our Story: The Problem We Faced and You Might Too.

Meet Sara, a Christchurch mum navigating the whirlwind of parenting with two little ones just 15 months apart, while also juggling a career. Like many parents, she faced the relentless cycle of nappy changes, often met with resistance from her kids.

During one particularly challenging change that her husband was trying his best to tackle, their youngest woke up and cried out, "cold, cold!"—a lightbulb moment for Sara. She realised that the discomfort from bending the baby's leg out of the sleepsuit and the temperature changes, caused by having the entire bottom half undressed even in the middle of summer, was leading to the resistance.

Later that night, on her phone, Sara found scientific studies highlighting the benefits of minimal disturbance during nappy changes, confirming her gut feeling. She also learnt about the importance of temperature control on a baby's sleep and realised how these disruptive nappy changes were preventing her little one from falling back to sleep easily.

Inspired by this insight, the Convertible Onesie was born to address baby's discomfort while making things more convenient for parents.
